Step 1

Insert a 6-inch piece of 20-24-gauge wire through the hole in the form and bend about a 1/4-inch length flat against the back. This will help to hold the wire firmly while working in the front.

Step 2

Pull the wire to the right of the small peg above the hole.

Step 3

Pull the wire up and wrap it clockwise around the topmost peg, then down to the first peg.

Step 4

Wrap the wire clockwise around the first peg.

Step 5

Wrap the wire clockwise around the second peg.

Step 6

Wrap the wire clockwise around the third peg.

Step 7

Wrap the wire clockwise around the fourth peg.

Step 8

Wrap the wire clockwise around the fifth peg and pull the wire back up toward the topmost peg.

Step 9

Wrap the wire clockwise around the topmost peg.

Step 10

Use the pusher tool to push down on all of the loops to squeeze the overlapped wire together.

Step 11

Remove the connector from the form and use flush cutters to trim the wire at the base of both of the top loops.

Step 12

Use chain nose pliers to turn the loops so they are parallel and open from front to back, not side to side.

Step 13

Congratulations, you have created a five to one connector using a finding form!

Step 14

To make a 3-to-1 connector using the same wig jig, skip steps 5 and 7, and wrap around only the side and center pegs.
