Our 3mm Japanese bugle beads are slender tubes of glass similar in shape to liquid silver beads. With smooth holes and clean-cut edges, these beads are beautiful for stringing as well as for needle weaving. They can be used with a size 10 beading needle and size D beading thread with most off-loom stitches and for bead embroidery. When weaving them with right-angle weave, you may have better results using a size 12 needle. They will also accommodate 22 gauge wire and .019" beading wire.
