Make the letters or designs in your stamped silver stand out by antiquing your piece. Use liver of sulfur or try a permanent marker as a simple alternative.

Sterling Silver piece with impressions or stamps
Liver of Sulfur
Pro Polish Pads
Or use a Permanent Marker instead of the Liver of Sulfer
Liver of Sulfur, 1 oz. jar
Start with a piece of silver that has impressions of letters or designs.
Mix a solution of liver of sulphur (1 tbs. of liquid liver of sulphur to 1 c. of warm water) in a bowl.
Use a cotton swab to brush the solution onto the silver.
As the solution dries, the liver of sulphur will begin to react with the silver turning it a dark brown.
Once the silver has been antiqued, rinse the silver with cold water. Dry completely. Then polish the silver with a Pro Polish Pad.
The antiquing will stay in the impressions in the silver, allowing the lettering or design to stand out.
As an alternative to using liver of sulphur to antique the silver, you can use a permanent marker.
With the permanent marker, fill in the area with the stamped impressions.
Once the ink is completely dry, use a Pro Polish Pad to polish the silver. The ink will stay in the impressions in the silver, allowing the lettering or design to stand out.
