A coil cord end is a clean finish to a cord – and it’s easy to attach when you follow these steps.
Coil Cord End
Chain Nose Pliers
Adding Hypo Cement into the cord end before inserting the cord will help keep the cord secured.
For this technique, we are using a 2mm cord and a 2mm cord end.
Insert the cord into the cord end.
With the chain nose pliers, grasp the last coil of the cord end.
Gently squeeze the coil until it is flat and the cord is secure.
Repeat for the second side of the cord. The loops on the cord end can now be used to attach jump rings or clasps.
