Add metal embellishments for decoration or try using the embellishments in place of simple jump rings.
Place and clamp a metal embellishment to a soldered piece.
Brush a layer of flux over the area of the embellishment to be tacked to the soldered piece.
With the soldering iron, melt some of the existing solder and pull over the embellishment.
This will "tack" the embellishment to the piece.
Add more flux and a small amount of solder to make the connection stronger.
Repeat steps to secure other sides of the embellishment.
