Step 1

Lay a 6-inch piece of 20–24-gauge wire across the findings form, with the tail on the left extending about 1/8-inch off the left side of the form.

Step 2

Hold the tail with your non-dominant hand and wrap the wire counterclockwise around the single peg at the top.

Step 3

Pull the wire to the right around the acrylic diamond form until it passes between the diamond and the first peg on the right side.

Step 4

Wrap the wire counterclockwise around the first peg.

Step 5

Wrap the wire counterclockwise around the second peg.

Step 6

Wrap the wire counterclockwise around the third peg.

Step 7

Wrap the wire counterclockwise around the fourth peg.

Step 8

Wrap the wire counterclockwise around the fifth peg.

Step 9

Bring the wire up the left hand side of the diamond, and pass it between the top of the diamond and the top peg.

Step 10

Wrap the wire counterclockwise around the top peg.

Step 11

Use the pusher tool to push down on all of the loops to squeeze the overlapped wire together.

Step 12

Remove the connector from the form and use flush cutters to trim the wire at the base of both of the top loops.

Step 13

Use chain nose pliers to turn the loops so they are parallel and open from front to back, not side to side.

Step 14

Congratulations, you have created a connector using a diamond finding form!
