Use a disc cutter to cut perfect circles from sheet metal to make charms, pendants and other components.
Print these instructions
7 Piece Disc Cutter
1 lb Heavy Brass Hammer
Pro Polish Pads
After the disc is cut, clean up the edges with a fine file or emery board.
Open the disc cutter enough so you can slide the sheet metal in between the blocks.
Choose the hole corresponding to the size disc desired.
Insert the sheet metal between the blocks of the disc cutter.
Tighten the disc cutter down enough so the sheet metal does not move.
Insert the matching punch into the hole.
Use a 1lb brass or household hammer and gently tap the punch.
Continue tapping the punch until it has gone all of the way through.
To remove the punch, tap or pull it through the bottom of the block.
Remove the sheet metal by unscrewing the block.
Congratulations! You have now cut a disc. Smooth the edges with a fine file or emery board and polish it with a Pro Polish Pad.
