Create an even count flat peyote piece that has an even number of rows. This piece is 10 beads wide by 12 rows. The edge rows are shown in a darker shade to make the diagrams easier to follow.
Bring both sides of the peyote piece together. The outer beads should be staggered so they will fit together like bricks.
Go up through the first bead on the right side of the tube.
Go up through the second bead on the left side of the tube.
Go through the third bead on the right side of the tube.
Go through the fourth bead on the left side of the tube.
Go up through the fifth bead on the right side of the tube.
Go up through the sixth bead on the left of the tube.
Go up through the seventh bead on the right of the tube.
Go up through the eighth bead on the left of the tube.
Go up through the ninth bead on the right of the tube.
Go up through the tenth bead on the left of the tube.
Go back down through the tenth bead on the right side of the tube.
Step down to the next bead and go back through that bead. Continue passing your needle back down through the beads in a step-like fashion, exiting on the other side of the tube bead.
Cut the thread. Clean up the ends of your thread, using a Perfect End Thread Burner. Burn, or melt, the end of your thread until the end is no longer visible.
Congratulations! You have completed a flat peyote stitch tube bead!
