Learn how to cut fine silver rings for fusing before you begin.
Learn how to fuse before you begin.
Start with a fine silver fused ring.
Place the fused ring on a bench block.
Hold the fused ring down with your finger. If you do not feel comfortable holding the fused ring with your finger, you may place a small piece of tape along the edge to keep it in place.
Using the flat, broad side of your hammer, hammer one half of your fused ring away from your finger or tape.
Move your finger or tape to the other side of the fused ring.
Hammer the remaining half of your fused ring.
Congratulations! You have now flattened a fused ring.
