Magic Findings Q and A

1. How many strands will the Magic Finding accommodate?

The Magic Finding will accommodate up to 7 strands.

2. Can I add strands to the Magic Finding once I've begun to crimp it?

No. Make sure that all components or strands have been attached to the Magic Finding before you begin to crimp it.

3. How many times do I need to crimp the Magic Finding in each hole on the Magic Finding Pliers?

You will need to crimp the Magic Finding 3-4 times in each hole until the pliers' jaws are completely closed. Make sure that you are crimping the Magic Finding in the larger hole of the pliers first. Once the pliers' jaws are completely closed, then you will crimp the Magic Finding in the small hole.

4. How far should I insert the Omega Insert into the Magic Finding?

You will want to completely insert the Omega Insert into the Magic Finding so that the ends are sticking out of the bottom. If the ends are not sticking out of the Magic Finding, it will not crimp properly.

5. What should I do if the ends of the Omega Insert slip back into the Magic Finding while I am crimping it?

If the ends of the Omega Insert slip back into the Magic Finding at any point, you will need to slide them back out before continuing. To prevent the ends from slipping back into the Magic Finding, press down on the top of the Omega Insert with your finger while you are crimping the Magic Finding.

6. Does it matter which way the Omega Insert is facing when I begin to crimp the Magic Finding?

Yes, the Omega Insert must be parallel to the jaws of the Magic Finding Pliers when you first crimp the Magic Finding. After this first crimp, you can rotate the Magic Finding 90 degrees and continue crimping.
