Insert a 5-inch piece of 20-24-gauge wire through the hole in the form and bend about a 1/4-inch flat against the back. This will help to hold the wire firmly while working in the front.
Wrap the wire clockwise around the large peg until it passes under the small peg.
Pull the wire up and around the large acrylic circle, down the right side of the acrylic circle, and along the left side of the acrylic triangle.
Use the pusher tool on the small peg to push down where the wire overlaps. This will tighten the intersection.
Cut the tail end of the wire with flush cutters on the corner of the triangle. Use a file or wire rounder to smooth out the end and remove any roughness.
Remove the ear wire from the jig, and trim the starting tail where the wire crosses over itself to create a nice clean round loop.
Congratulations, you have created an ear wire using a round ear wire findings form!
