Take your Wig Jig to the next level with this pattern option that will result in an intricate pendant or focal piece.

Chain Nose Pliers
Use a thicker gauge wire such as 18 or 20 gauge for a stronger finished wire form.
Harden the wire form to help keep its shape by using either a plastic mallet and bench block or a wire smacker. Refer to the beading technique Hardening a Wire Form.
Place the pegs in the wig jig as shown.
Cut a piece of wire 18 inches long. Place one end of the wire on the right side of the peg.
Begin wrapping the wire around the first peg.
After wrapping the wire completely around the peg, bring the wire down around the peg in the inner circle moving around the wig jig in a counterclockwise direction.
After wrapping the wire completely around the inner circle peg, bring the wire up around the peg in the outer circle moving around the wig jig in a counterclockwise direction.
After wrapping the wire around the peg, bring the wire down around the peg in the inner circle moving around the wig jig in a counterclockwise direction.
Repeat steps 4-6 until you reach the last peg.
After wrapping the wire completely around the last peg, bring the wire up around the first peg again.
Wrap the wire around the peg. This will create a second loop around the peg.
Take the wire form off of the wig jig. Use your wire cutters to cut off the end of the wire. This will leave a simple loop on one side of the form.
Repeat step 10 on the other side of the wire form.
Using your chain nose pliers, grasp the side of the loop.
Close the loop by moving the open side of the loop back until the loop is closed.
Repeat steps 12 and 13 for the other side of the wire form.
Line up the top two loops so they overlap. Make several forms and link them together for a necklace, bracelet or earrings. Also, try hanging beads off of loops.
