A wire rounder is used to round the blunt cut ends of wire when a smooth end is desired, such as when making ear wires. Burs inside a bit work like a file on the end of wire. Our wire rounder set includes two interchangeable bits that are ideal for use with 16 gauge and 20 gauge wire. (Wire not included.)
To assemble, first unscrew the textured silver tip. (Refer to Image 4.) Remove the black bit holder inside. Both sides of the black bit holder have a cross hatch, but the side that your bit will fit into will have a larger opening. Place one bit into the side with the larger opening, blunt end first. Make sure that the black bit holder has the larger opening facing outwards; if your bit cannot fit into the bit holder, remove the black bit holder and flip it so that the opposite side with the larger opening is now facing outwards. Place the whole assembly - the black bit holder and the bit inside it - into the main cylinder. (Refer to Image 5.) Screw the tip completely over the whole assembly.
