Wire Lace Ribbon with a Crimp Bead Materials
  • 6mm Wire Lace Ribbon
  • 2x2mm Crimp Beads
  • Crimp Bead Covers
  • .014 Soft Flex Beading Wire
  • Clasp

Step 1
Cut the Soft Flex 2 inches longer then your desired finished length. Cut the wire lace twice as long as the Soft Flex. String a 2x2mm crimp bead onto the Soft Flex.
Step 2
String one end of the clasp on the Soft Flex. Then go back through the crimp bead, creating a loop around the clasp.
Step 3
Crimp the crimp bead using the crimping pliers.

Use a wire cutter to cut off the excess Soft Flex.
Step 5
String another 2x2mm crimp bead onto the Soft Flex.
Step 6
Twist the wire lace into a point.

Thread the point of the wire lace through the last crimp bead. Then crimp the crimp bead using the crimping pliers.
Step 8
Use a wire cutter to cut off the excess wire lace.

Cover each of the crimp beads with a crimp bead cover.

String several beads onto the Soft Flex.
Step 11
Using your Soft Flex, go through the wire lace at a point twice as long as the strung beads.

String a crystal onto the Soft Flex.

Using the Soft Flex, go back through the wire lace.
Step 14
Continue with this pattern until you have reached your desired finished length.

To finish, twist the wire lace into a point.

String a crimp bead onto the wire lace and the Soft Flex. Crimp your crimp bead with the crimping pliers.

Use a wire cutter to cut off the excess wire lace.

String another 2x2mm crimp bead onto the Soft Flex.

String the other end of the clasp onto the Soft Flex and go back though the crimp bead creating a loop around the clasp. Then crimp the crimp bead with the crimping pliers.
Step 20
Cover all the crimp beads with crimp bead covers.
Step 21
Then gently pull the wire lace apart, creating a scalloped look.
