- How to Order
PLEASE NOTE:
We accept orders placed online through our web site only.
We are unable to take orders by telephone, fax or mail.
The first step in placing your order is to find the products that you want to purchase.
There are two ways to find products on our web site. The first is to use the 'Keyword Search' box located at the top of our left navigation bar. Enter the name of the item you are looking for and click the arrow box.
If you are unable to find a product you are searching for, you may want to use broader search terms. For example, if you are looking for a 4mm Swarovski crystal light amethyst AB bicone, try entering 4mm amethyst crystal as your search terms. You will get more results than the crystal you are looking for, but the results will most likely include the one you want.
The search function on our website searches on the product name and the product SKU. If you are looking for something that you have purchased previously, you can enter the SKU number from your invoice into the search field to find that product.
The second way to find products is to browse the categories listed in the left navigation bar. Select a category that you want to browse and click on it in the left navigation bar. This will bring you to a page listing the sub-categories within this main category. Select the sub-category that you want to view and you will see a chart page that shows individual products. To view details for an individual product and a larger photo, click on its name or photo in the chart.
Once you find the item you want to purchase, you can add it to your shopping cart.
You can add products to your shopping cart directly on the chart page by entering the quantity that you want and clicking the 'Add' button beside the product. You can add multiple items at one time in a chart by entering the quantity of each item in its individual box and clicking any 'Add' button on that page. You can also add an item to your shopping cart from the individual product page for that product.
Once an item is in your shopping cart, you can change the quantity of any item or remove an item from your cart before proceeding to checkout. If you want to remove an item, enter zero in the quantity box and click the 'Update Quantity' button at the bottom of your cart.
When all of the items you wish to purchase are in your shopping cart, you are ready to proceed to the order checkout process.
First, if this order is a gift, click the box that says 'This Order is a Gift' directly above the 'Checkout' button; otherwise click the 'Checkout' button to proceed. If any items in your shopping cart are not available, you will receive a message box telling you the quantity that we do have available to ship. You will then be returned to your cart. At this time you can change the quantity you are ordering in the box and click on the 'Update Quantity' box.
When you proceed to checkout, you will be in our secure order form, which has four steps.
Order Step 1
Complete the customer registration information, such as your user name and password. This step will set up your fusionbeads.com account for placing orders, maintaining your order history, and creating a product wishlist.
Order Step 2
Enter your billing and shipping addresses. Please enter the billing address that is associated with the credit card that you will be using for payment. If the billing address does not match the information that you provided to your credit card company, your order cannot be processed. The shipping address may be different from the billing address.
Order Step 3
Choose a shipping option. Depending on the delivery address, you will receive the options available to you. If you have a gift certificate or credit voucher, please enter the code in the box below the shipping option.
If you have any special shipping information that you would like to provide, use the 'Comments' box below the shipping option.
Order Step 4
Enter your payment information. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards. You will be asked for the card number, expiration date and the 3- or 4-digit card ID on the back of your credit card, if applicable. You will also see an order summary on this page. Please double-check it before clicking submit. (Please note that for your security, FusionBeads.com does not retain your credit card information. Once an order is submitted, it cannot be changed.)
When you are ready to complete your purchase, click 'Submit,' and an invoice of your order will appear. You can print the invoice for your records at this time. You will also receive an email confirmation of your order soon thereafter.
Your credit card is charged at the time you place your order. As a security measure FusionBeads.com does not store your credit card information so we are unable to make changes to your order once it is complete.

- Return Policy
 You may return products within 90 days of the order shipment date for a full refund. No product exchanges.
Return Policies:
1. We do not accept returns on wire, chain, wire lace, all Swarovski crystal chain, open stringing
materials, partial returns on pre-packaged items in bulk, books, open kits, opened bags of Delica
seed beads and 50% off sale items.
2. Returned products must be in their original condition and packaging. A product that is returned in a way that cannot be resold as is will be assessed a 15% restocking fee.
3. In the event you choose to return any non-defective items for which you have received a volume pricing discount, your credit will be adjusted for this item based on the quantity you kept.
Please follow the instructions below when returning merchandise.
1. Fill out the product return form on the back of your invoice (or download the pdf version above) and include it with your return.
2. Package the products carefully for return shipment. We recommend a bubble envelope or box.
3. For your protection, we recommend that you send your returns by insured US mail, UPS or FedEx.
4. Return the products within 90 days of the order shipment date to:

5. Returns may take up to five business days after we receive them. When we receive and process your return, we will e-mail you a FusionBeads.com credit voucher or apply the refund directly to the credit card you used on the order.

- What to do if your order is lost or wrong
At FusionBeads.com, we try our best to fulfill your order as quickly and accurately as possible. But every now and then we make mistakes, orders can be lost after they leave our warehouse, or other things can go wrong.
Here are a few guidelines on how we handle those unusual circumstances:
- Order error: If we make a mistake on your order, please contact us right away (within two weeks of receiving your order). If you received an incorrect item or your order was missing an item, we will replace it free of charge using the same shipping method you requested when placing the original order. If the item is no longer in stock, we will offer a refund or credit voucher to apply to a future order.
- Lost order: Our policy is to wait the recommended delivery time frame for the selected shipping method (see Turn-Around Time and Shipping Information below) before declaring that an order is lost. If, after waiting the recommended delivery time frame, you still have not received your order, please contact us, and we will discuss your options and find the resolution most satisfactory for you.
- Address error: If your order included an incorrect or incomplete shipping address and the order is returned to us, we will contact you for a new address and reship the order. You will be charged a shipping fee for reshipping the order. If you decide to cancel the order instead, your shipping fee (if any) will be deducted from your refund.
- Wholesale Information
We do not have further price breaks beyond what you see online. We offer volume pricing on most of our products- the higher the quantity of an item that you purchase, the lower the price is, up to the best price shown online. If you are a Washington State reseller, you can order items for resale without paying sales tax- please read the related FAQ item.
We are always checking the market to ensure that our prices are among the lowest you will find. As a result, we do not offer price matching.
- Tax-Exempt Ordering
Orders that are shipped within Washington State are charged up to 9.5% sales tax depending on your shipping address. We do not charge tax on any other US orders. All international shipments will incur applicable duties and/or taxes for the country and/or region.
We welcome Washington residents with a business license to register with us to purchase re-sellable items tax-free. Please follow these steps to set up your account as tax free before placing your order:
- First you will set up your FusionBeads.com customer account. To do this, click on the Log In link along the top navigation bar on our home page. You will enter your name, email address (which will become your username), a password for your account and phone number. Click the Register button to activate your account.
- Click here to download the Washington State resale certificate, complete and sign it, and fax it to us at 206.781.9509 before placing your order. You can also scan in the completed form and email it to us as a Word or PDF attachment.
- Once your account is set up and we receive your business license information, we will send you an email confirming the change to your account. Your orders will then be tax-exempt except for certain products, such as tools, because they are not considered resalable items. Any tax charged on orders placed prior to us notifying you that we have updated your record can not be refunded.
- Accepted Payment Methods
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards as payment. We also accept orders placed using Paypal. All orders must be placed through our website.
We do not currently accept any other form of payment, including check-by-mail.
- Do you have a catalog?
We do not offer a printed catalog because our website shows an up-to-date inventory of all items we offer. We update our website regulary to add new products, so you can view them immediately instead of waiting until a paper catalog is published.
We have the most current information online for your browsing and make every effort to keep our products in stock; however, there are some cases when an item goes out of stock. If something you are looking for is not on our website, contact us, and we will let you know whether it is on order and when we expect to receive it.
- Do you have a minimum order requirement?
Fusion Beads does not require a minimum order amount. We want you to shop for what you want, how much you want, and in whatever combination you desire. We hope you enjoy your shopping experience with us!
- Do you have gift certificates?
Yes, we offer gift certificates in multiple increments from $10 up to $250. When you order a gift certificate, we will send you (the purchaser) the gift certificate code in your order confirmation email. If you choose, we can send the gift certificate directly to the gift recipient’s email address with the gift message you enter at the time you place the order. Indicate this preference by checking the box that says "Send GC to Recipient."
We understand that you may want to place an order for a gift certificate amount that combines two or more increments. To do so, place the order using the different increments to equal your desired amount; once the order is processed, please call us, and we will consolidate all of the gift certificates into one claim code for the total amount. The number to call is 1.888.781.3559, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST.
- How do I redeem my gift certificate, discount coupon, or return credit voucher?
To redeem any discount or gift certificate, place items in your shopping cart and proceed to the checkout process. In step 3 of the order process directly below the shipping option, you will be asked to enter the claim code or gift certificate code. Do not enter the code in the comments field as it will not adjust your total.
If your order total is less than your gift certificate or claim code's value, you can use the balance on your next order with us; just keep your claim code. If you lose your claim code, call or email us, and we will ask you a few account questions to ensure security before emailing you your claim code.
If your order total is more than your gift certificate value, you will be asked to enter a credit card number to pay for the balance. If you have problems redeeming your gift certificate, please contact us for help by calling 1.888.781.3559 Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. PST, or by writing to orders@fusionbeads.com.
- I have several credit vouchers or gift certificates that I'd like to use on one order. What should I do?
If you have several credit voucher or gift certificate claim codes that you would like to consolidate into a single code, please contact us before you place an order, providing us with the claim codes. We will consolidate the various credit or gift certificate amounts into one claim code. Please write to orders@fusionbeads.com or call 1.888.781.3559, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. PST. Please note that gift certificates/credit vouchers cannot be combined with percentage-off discount coupons in the same order.
- May I place an item on backorder?
We don't accept backorders on our products at this time. In rare cases, we may be out of an item that you ordered, or we feel that a product is not up to our quality standards. In either case, we will contact you by phone or email to credit your account or refund you for those items.
If you'd like to receive an e-mail when a currently out of stock item is back in stock, click the button that says “E-mail Me” (when this product is restocked), fill in your e-mail address, and you will automatically receive an e-mail when the item is available.
If you do not see a small pop-up window when you click on the "Email Me" button, please add www.fusionbeads.com to your list of trusted sites on your web browser or pop-up blocker application.
- Why can't I find a product I have previously ordered?
Our online store lists all of the items that we have in stock and available for purchase. If we are out of an item and are able to re-order it, we will; this is our guarantee to you. Some products cannot be re-ordered because they are either unique or discontinued. Pearls and semi-precious beads are two lines that we are not always able to re-order.
- How do I view my order history?
You can access your past account order history by using the 'My Account' link located in the upper right hand corner of our site under the box to sign up for our newsletter.
You will be asked for the username and password that you use to place orders. When you login, you will see the list of your past orders. You can click on the order number or the link 'View Invoice' at the far right of each line to view the order information.
- I want to order enough to get the best price but there are not enough in stock. Can the price be adjusted?
There are times when we will not have enough inventory on hand for you to order the highest quantity of a certain product and receive the lowest price we offer. This is rare, and we make every effort to avoid this. We do not match the lowest price for these items because the price is based on the quantity sold. If you would like to order more of an item than we currently have in stock, please contact us, and we will give you an estimate of when we will have more inventory so that you can purchase the higher quantity.
- Can I save my cart?
Shopping carts are not account-specific; they are saved on cookies on the individual computer you are using. If you want to save items for future purchase, we recommend that you use our Wish List feature to do this, as your Wish List is account-specific and will be stored under your username for retrieval at any time.
Placing an item in your shopping cart does not hold the price or availability of the item for you. Although price changes are rare, if a price does change, the new price will be reflected when you continue with your purchase.
- Why does my cart keep clearing out items I put in?
There are two reasons why your shopping cart may not be retaining the items that you are placing in it. One is that your computer may have its cookies turned off. The second is that your security settings are not set to allow third-party cookies.
The term 'cookies' is used to describe a temporary file created on your computer to store information for you while you are shopping. Think of it as a file into which you are cutting and pasting items that you want to purchase. If you have your cookies turned off, or your security settings do not allow third-party cookies, there is no file for our site to see which items you want to purchase.
General instructions to change your security settings on a standard PC are the following: Access the Tools menu on your web browser and select the Privacy tab along the top. Within this tab you can add fusionbeads.com to your list of sites that you accept cookies from, or reduce your security settings while shopping with us. You can resume your previous higher settings when you are finished shopping.
- I received an Order Submission Verification error message. What does it mean?
The "Order Submission Verification" message means that you have submitted the same credit card information twice within a two-minute time period. As a security measure, orders are not processed when this occurs. Please click “View Cart” from the top navigation bar of our website, and submit your order again. To ensure that your order is processed properly, please wait at least two minutes before attempting to resubmit your order. We appreciate your patience. - Why is my cart still full after I've placed an order?
There are a couple of reasons why your shopping cart will still contain items that you have already ordered. One is that your browser is still open. The second is that you went directly to another site from the checkout page after your order was submitted.
Leaving the browser open or going to another site directly from the checkout page may leave items in your cart because the command that clears the items from your cart occurs with the click immediately after your order is submitted.
You can ensure that your cart is emptied by closing the browser window after you have finished placing your order. You can also delete items manually by entering a zero in the quantity box and clicking the Update Qty button at the bottom of the page, or by simply clicking the "Empty Cart" button at the bottom of the cart.
- What is a Wish List?
A Wish List is a list of products that you create yourself. Using a Wish List is a convenient way to keep track of items that you may want to purchase in the future or that you want to receive as a gift. Your Wish List is saved indefinitely as part of your customer account. If you are not sure when you will be placing an order, it is better to put items on your Wish List rather than in the Shopping Cart, which may expire within 24 hours.
To place items on your Wish List:
1. Login to your account with your e-mail address and password.
2. View an item on that item’s product detail page. If you are viewing a chart page showing multiple items, click on the item’s photo to get to the product detail page.
3. To the right of the product’s photo, click the button that says “Add to Wishlist.” You will be taken to your Wish List with the item listed.
4. To change the quantity of an item, click the number in the quantity box, type in a new quantity, and click the button that says “Update all Quantities.”
5. To delete an item from the Wish List, change the quantity to zero and update the quantities.
6. When you are ready to order, you can easily move all items from your Wish List to the Shopping Cart by clicking the button that says “Add All to Cart.” If you change your mind and decide to abandon your Shopping Cart, or if you are interrupted during the ordering process and your order is not completed, the items will remain on your Wish List. If you complete the order placement process, all items you ordered will be deleted from the Wish List.
7. You may also order only individual items from your Wish List instead of all items by clicking the “Add” button to the right of each product photo. The items you order will be deleted from the Wish List.
You can use your Wish List to offer gift suggestions to others by making your Wish List public:
1. Login to your account with your e-mail address and password.
2. Beneath your account information, check the box for “Public Wish List.”
3. Ask your friends to visit our web site and select “Wish List” from the top menu bar.
4. They can then search for your Wish List using your email address.
5. If purchases are made from your Wish List, those items are deleted from the list.
6. Please note that if your Wish List is public, you will be able to view it without logging into your account by searching for it with your e-mail address, but you will not be able to update quantities or make other changes to the list until you login.
To make your Wish List private:
1. Login to your account with your e-mail address and password.
2. Beneath your account information, clear the box for “Public Wish List.”
3. If your Wish List is private, you will not be able to view it without logging into your account.
Other things to know about the Wish List:
1. Placing an item on your Wish List does not hold the price or availability of the item.
2. Although price changes are infrequent, if the price of an item on your Wish List does change, the new price will be reflected when you move the item from your Wish List to the Shopping Cart.
3. If an item goes out of stock after you have placed it on your Wish List, it will remain on the Wish List with the “Out of Stock” indication.
4. If you move all items from your Wish List to the Shopping Cart and some items are out of stock, only available items will move to your Shopping Cart. You can go ahead and order the available items. The items that are out of stock will remain on your Wish List with the “Out of Stock” indication.

You can change your username or password by following these three easy steps:

Select the 'My Account' option located at the top right side of the screen and log in as a returning customer.

In the Edit Account screen, delete your old email address or password, then type and confirm your new email or password.

We offer free, step-by-step instructions for our most popular Inspiration jewelry designs. Our instructions are available as PDF files. You can download these PDF files directly to your computer from our website. Save the files to your computer, and then you can open and print the instructions at your convenience.
