My earliest crafty memory was collecting scrap cloth materials from my parents' old silkscreen printing business and hand-sewing them into clothes, accessories, and little home furnishings for my Barbie dolls. Then I received my first camera and so I was distracted by the many things I could do with my new toy. Eventually in 2010, this led to my current position at FusionBeads.com. So many products have gone through our camera's viewfinder that I was inspired to re-kindle my crafty hands with making jewelry. The first pair of earrings I made for a friend was the Angel of Love Earrings as a token for her mother's memory. It is amazing how a simple technique like Wire Wrapping combined with some beautiful pieces and my own two hands can create a gift that expresses more than words ever could. Since then, I have also learned the Flat, Odd Count Peyote Stitch combined with the Flat Peyote Clasp. It inspired me to create my own patterns and show off my football spirit. Go Hawks!
