String a crimp bead onto the Soft Flex
String one end of the clasp on the Soft Flex. Then go back through the crimp bead, creating a loop around the clasp.
Make sure that the wires are lying parallel to each other. Place the crimp bead into the back notch of the crimping pliers.
Squish the crimp bead with the crimping pliers.
Turn the crimp bead a quarter turn and place the crimp bead in the front notch of the crimping pliers.
Gently squish the crimp bead with the crimping pliers. This will fold the crimped bead over on itself.
Use the wire cutter to cut off the small tail of the Soft Flex.
String beads onto the Soft Flex until you have reached your desired length.
For our extender chain we are using a 2 inch piece of silver chain. String a crimp bead and the end of the extender chain on the Soft Flex. Pass the Soft Flex back through the crimp bead, creating a loop around one link in the extender chain and crimp with the crimping pliers.
Finishing Option 1
Use a jump ring (See the Opening and Closing a Jump Ring technique.) and add a charm to the end of the extender chain.
