I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, and even though I spent a decade in Washington, DC, I never stopped thinking about the glorious scenery and natural beauty of this place. It is this appreciation of the mountains, the ocean, and all the natural splendor found here in the Pacific Northwest that primarily drives my jewelry designs. I often create pieces that are fluid in form, playful in color, and indulge in wonderful bead excess! My second love and source of endless inspiration is anything created by Swarovski! I am enamored by the jewelry of the Edwardian period and I use Swarovski crystal anytime I want to evoke the luxurious elegance of this time period. Swarovski offers big time bling without breaking my beading budget! My favorite Inspiration Projects are the Darkness Bracelet, the Pearl Berry Bracelet and the Wisteria Earrings. I think our collection of Techniques is an absolutely amazing resource for beaders. My favorite techniques are Covering a Component - Outer Edge, Sawing Out Negative Spaces Inside a Metal Framework, and the Russian Spiral Stitch.
