Sterling silver (92.5% silver) closed jump rings have been soldered, which results in a continuous, strong circle that cannot be opened. They may be used when you are connecting wire wrapped links together and need a strong joint between the links. They are also ideal for use as a catch for clasps such as lobster claws and S clasps.
