Product Details -

Nozue Sonoko is a strong, fray-resistant, non-stretchy thread that works beautifully with all off-loom bead weaving stitches. The fibers of the cut end stay together, making it easy to thread. A nylon thread manufactured in Japan, it is one of few threads made specifically for the beading industry. Like other nylon threads, Nozue Sonoko can be cut and burned with a thread burner. Sold in 110 yard spool.

Best New Thread!

by

I absolutely love this thread! It is smooth, silky, and very easy to work with. It has some stretch to it so it's perfect for bangles!

Great thread for beading

by

This thread is just wonderful. It is very strong yet has a bit of give when sliding a bracelet over your wrist. I only use this now and not the other kinds, except for fireline, which is great.

Great for Bangles!

by

This thread has a slight stretch, making it a great choice when making bangles, such as filled netting or herringbone. I find I can make my bangles about 1/2" smaller with this thread. This makes the bangle tighter on the wrist, and it stretches just enough to easily slide/roll over the hand. One caveat: be extra dilligent with knotting and ending your threads if you make the bangle tighter. Voice of experience - not enough knots equals a LOT of seed beads all over the floor! :-)
