Product Details -

Superlon is a strong and durable beading thread that can be used as you would Nymo. FusionBeads.com offers this nylon parallel-fiber thread in a rainbow of vibrant colors. Its flexibility and fray resistance make it a great choice for any seed bead stitch or loom weaving. It has almost no stretch for consistent tension in your pieces. Size D is medium fine and a slightly heavier thickness than Nymo size D. We recommend using a thread conditioner or beeswax help when threading Superlon through the eye of a size 13 or larger beading needle.

Check out our Peyote Stitch, Right Angle Weave, Herringbone, Netting, Brick Stitch, Bead Embroidery, Bead Fringe, and More Bead Weaving Techniques for a variety of ways to use beading thread in your designs.

Happy fireline beader

by

I'm a beader who really likes fireline; however color selections are limited. I've used it exclusively for years. I like it for strength, lack of stretch, it's very hard to split while weaving as well as lack of fraying on the ends. I've tried other nylon products before and they always tangle and stretch. I decided to give this a try and I was very pleased. I will be using this more in my beadwork from now on. In comparing superlon to nymo I found this to tangle less. Don't be afraid to give this one a try!
