For this technique, choose a pinch bail and a pendant.
If the bail is closed too tightly, you may have to open it before attaching. To open the bail, grasp both sides of the bail with your chain nose or flat nose pliers.
Gently pull the two sides apart just wide enough for the pendant.
Insert one notch of the bail into the hole of the pendant.
Gently squeeze both sides of the bail together. The second notch of the bail should go into the other side of the hole of the pendant.
With the bail attached, you can now string your pendant onto cord or a chain.
