Flat Kumihimo - Clasp Option 1
Once both ends of the braid have been knotted, a clasp can be added to transform it into a piece of finished jewelry
Print this Technique

Step 1
Generously dab glue next to the knots to coat the cord and prevent fraying when the braid is cut. Allow the glue to dry.

Step 2
Use sharp scissors to trim the braid between the knot and the braid.

Step 3
Slide a ribbon end over the end of the braid.

Step 4
Squeeze the ribbon end closed using chain nose pliers.

Step 5
Attach a jump ring to one end.

Step 6
Attach a jump ring and a clasp to the opposite end.

Step 7
Congratulations, you have added a clasp to a flat kumihimo braid!
