With a hole about 1.3mm in diameter, these size 8 round seed beads fit easily onto 18 gauge wire and .024" beading wire. They can be used with any size beading needle and thread. The hole edges of metal seed beads may be sharp and can cut through beading thread. We recommend using a strong beading thread such as FireLine. As you are weaving, avoid pulling or scraping the thread against the hole edge.
